Privacy policy
Last updated 1 October 2026
In short
- This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
- We collect what you send us (for example your name, email and company when you get in touch or book a demo) and use it to reply and arrange a demo.
- The booking calendar is Calendly's. It loads, and sets its own cookies, only if you allow it.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you by writing to hello@verifield.ai.
Who we are
Verifield AI is operated by Docy AI Pty Ltd (ABN [to be added]), trading as Verifield AI, a Docy AI company, of [registered address], Australia ("we", "us"). We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What this policy covers
This policy covers the verifield.ai website and the enquiries, demos and proposals that come from it. Data that customers hold in the Verifield platform (their sites, assets, meter readings and documents) is handled under the customer's agreement with us, not under this policy.
What we collect
What you give us
- Your name, email address, phone number, company and role, when you email us or book a demo.
- Booking details you enter in the calendar, such as the time you choose and any notes.
- What you tell us about your sites and assets during a conversation or demo, and any files you choose to send us.
What is collected automatically
- Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) for security and to keep the site running. We don't use them to profile visitors.
- Your browser stores your cookie choice for this site in its local storage, on your device only.
We don't use analytics, advertising cookies, tracking pixels or session recording on this site.
How we use it
- To reply to you, arrange and run a demo, and prepare a proposal.
- To keep a record of our dealings with you.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We don't sell personal information. We only send you marketing email if you have agreed to it, and every such email lets you unsubscribe, as the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) requires.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and our business. They handle personal information on our behalf.
| Provider | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Calendly | Booking demos. Only loads on this site if you allow it. | United States |
| Google Fonts | Serving the typefaces on this site. Your browser sends your IP address to Google to fetch them; no cookies are set. | United States |
| Our hosting provider | Serving the website and keeping its server logs. | [to be added] |
| Our email provider | Receiving and replying to your emails. | [to be added] |
Some of these providers store data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Cookies and similar technology
This website sets no cookies of its own. It saves your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so it doesn't ask again.
The booking calendar on the home page is provided by Calendly. When you allow it, Calendly's page loads inside ours and Calendly may set its own cookies, which are covered by Calendly's privacy notice. If you choose "No thanks", the calendar doesn't load, and you can still book in a new tab or email us.
You can change your choice at any time.
How we keep it safe, and for how long
We protect personal information with access controls, encryption in transit and providers who meet recognised security standards. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete or de-identify it.
Seeing and correcting your information
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to hello@verifield.ai. We'll reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm who you are first.
Complaints
If you think we've mishandled your personal information, write to us at hello@verifield.ai and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change, and change the date at the top.
